South Okanagan Immigrant & Community Services (SOICS) is dedicated to building a welcoming and inclusive community by promoting cultural harmony and diversity based on the mutual respect and full participation of people from all backgrounds.
Serving immigrants and refugees for over 40 years, our multilingual staff work with clients to help them get settled, find careers and learn all they need to know about starting their lives in Canada.
SOICS also serves the broader community by enhancing its capacity to assist newcomer integration. Our Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) includes members drawn from all levels of government, public institutions, regional employment networks, employers, local associations and key community stakeholders. Together we work to increase the pace of social and economic integration of newcomers.
