Position Summary
We are seeking a Casual MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Medical Team at Penticton Regional Hospital.

Penticton Regional Hospital provides core medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area. Services include 24 hour emergency and trauma services, acute services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic/paramedical services.

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader (or designate), the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This position is responsible for assisting the Radiologists during procedure, inputting patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and providing direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

This position involves day and evening shifts with on-call required. Shift times are: 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 15:00 to 23:00, 16:00 to 23:00.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.

Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).

Training and experience in another modality (CT, Xray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine) would be an asset.
