The Position

Our immediate need is for a talented and experienced Digital Product Marketing and Communications professional, with experience in natural health. This is a new position at SOTA and requires someone with the skill set to create and implement a comprehensive marketing vision for SOTA and the organizations under the SOTA umbrella.

This position is best suited to a forward thinker who will work closely with our team to build and maintain a strong global web presence. Innovation is key, as the political and regulatory environment surrounding wellness products creates challenges and the need for creative solutions. To date, word-of-mouth has been the primary way people hear about us. Now that technologies similar to ours are becoming more mainstream, it is time for us to step out and show the world what SOTA has to offer.

The position has a strong mandate to help guide SOTA into new and expanding markets. In addition to leading our marketing and communication efforts, this position also requires someone who can quickly learn our company culture and respect the foundation that has been laid, while at the same time play a key role in helping SOTA as a whole move into a new and expanding vision of that foundation.

You Will Assume a Pivotal Role at SOTA


  • Take charge of all Marketing at SOTA:

    • Manage all digital marketing channels ensuring brand consistency

    • Design and implement an integrated marketing strategy with an eye to deliver growth by identifying and targeting new customers as well as maximizing existing customer relationships

    • Recommend and implement ideas and innovations to improve digital media

    • Provide creative ideas for product marketing

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key people, agencies and vendors

  • Organize physical and digital resources for our Retailers and Practitioners

  • Research, write, support, edit, and oversee the production of communications in a variety of formats

Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive education and/or related experience in Marketing, Business, Communications and/or related fields

  • In-depth understanding of Natural Health and how the body heals

  • Experience marketing natural health products

  • Demonstrated experience in creating both digital and print marketing communications materials

  • Advanced writing, proofing and language skills

  • Ability to create easily understandable and engaging content from technical information

  • Knowledge and proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Programs

  • Ensure consistent use of branding across all platforms

  • Maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, and so forth. Generally, seeking to stay in tune with any opportunities that the company can leverage
