Spend a day on September 18th exploring and discussing these two hot topics in employment in the South Okanagan, as well as network with colleagues and get hands-on training during working sessions. Expert speakers, interactive workshops, and same-day outcomes — not a bad way to spend a Wednesday?

The day incorporates two streams of topics running simultaneously, essentially bringing together two forums under one roof. Participants can pick from either agenda, making it a relevant, impactful and value-packed day.

On the hiring side, speakers will present ideas on how to ‘sell’ vacant positions to job seekers, conduct a working session on workplace culture, and attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops for a session on optimizing their StartHereOkanagan presence.

On the housing side, listen to “quick talks” on workforce housing, attend a hands-on session of ‘who needs what’ that will address the supply of living options, and participate in a crowd-sourcing solutions.
